300 (2006)
Even though this movie is not about the Greek Gods, it is about the great warrior Spartans, who are considered to be the toughest fighters. A small army of 300 Spartans fights over 300,000 soldiers in the Battle of Thermopylae led by King Leonidas.
The cast of this film is composed of Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, David Wenham, and Dominic West. These stars really make this film spectacular. The movie is also directed by Zack Snyder, which was the movie that launched his career as a visionary director. This was filmed with a special technique called superimposition chroma key to create the imagery of a comic book.
Hercules (1997)
Hercules is one of the best filmographic tales based on Greek mythology made by Disney. It is about Hercules, the son of Zeus, who got abducted when he was a baby. While he was raised as a demigod, Hades, God of the underworld, wants to take over the power of Zeus. This is a good chance for Hercules to prove himself as a hero who deserves to be more than what he believes to be.

This film was actually named Dawn of War and War of the Gods, but it was officially changed to Immortals. Its box office earnings were not bad at all, making over $226 million worldwide. With an awesome cast including Henry Cavill, Stephen Dorff, and Luke Evans, this is a good Netflix to watch alone or with friends and family.
Hercules (2014)
The 2014 Hercules is a live-action movie this time. The story tells us about what happened when Hercules, the demigod, was a leader of a band of mercenaries. The King of Thrace wishes for Hercules’s help in defeating the tyrannical lord. Not only he fights for people, but for his family also as they’re killed by the tyrant.
The film has Dwayne Johnson as the main character. There are more stars such as Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, and Irina Shayk. In total, it made $244 million worldwide, and if you are looking for Greek mythology on Netflix, this is certainly a good option for you!
